at the top of the holder (when you open the lid - the top is the area closest to to the hinges) - you need about 3/4 of an inch of glass showing (at the top) of the scannable area. use a thick enough cardboard or black styrene that allows you to bump the side of the slide to the custom holder.so the slide is straight. use your original holder as a helpful guide to finding the scannable area. a couple of tips if you go this direction: 1. we have crafted our own holders before using a black styrene. so the real question is - how do you scan more than 4 slides at a time? I have heard of people using cardboard to craft their own holder. You will notice that the holder only positions the slide in the scannable area. the scanner will not see anything outside of that area! that rectagular area in the top glass is the scannable area. check out the glass in the lid of the scanner. The scannable area for the v600 is only about 4.5 inches wide. we only stock OEM parts - the only film holder we have that will work for the v600 will hold 4 slides. if you prefer long links, here you go! ĭo you have a slide film holder for the EpsonV 600 that will hold more than4 slides We can help with the 120 holder for the V600. Will this scan a 120 transparency film? It looks like it will, but I did not see that listed in the product description.
please know that canon and HP do NOT provide a holder for this size either.
Is there a holder for 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" and there are usually several negatives that size of the strip?Įpson does NOT make a standard holder for 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" inch film size.
